Henkel Square, entered into the register of monuments, one of the most decent locations in Warsaw. In 2003, Henkel Square was included in the list of contemporary cultural assets in Warsaw prepared by the Association of Polish Architects. The buildings erected between 1953 and 1956 have three floors and high mansard roofs with dormers, covered with red tiles. There are glass displays in the corners of the roofs, illuminating the staircases and the gate passage. The buildings are arranged compactly and form a ring around the square, interrupted only by street entrances. The design inspiration was the development of small towns. Although the complex of buildings was built in the late period of socialist realism, they refer to the pre-war manor and provincial baroque style.
