What also attracts tourists to Mielno is the seaside microclimate, extremely beneficial in the treatment of, among others. diseases of the upper respiratory tract or asthma. Clean air and the cleanest coastal strip are the result of the lack of industrial plants and ports in this region.

Apart from bathing areas, numerous tourist attractions await newcomers - the promenade in Mielno leading to the main descent to the beach is very popular. It is there that you can admire the characteristic Morsa monument. The approximately 1.5-kilometer-long Friendship Promenade begins here, with the Aviators Monument next to it. The attractions also include the seaside park, where you can admire the old Slavic settlement, wooden monuments of cones and war bunkers.

The fishing harbor in the Unieście district, which is its greatest attraction, is also waiting for tourists. There you can admire the work of sea fishermen and see boats flowing in and out, or work with nets. Right next to the marina, a walking pier has been built, to which cruise ships or cutters taking volunteers for fishing can land.

Mielno can be easily reached both by car and public transport. The provincial road No. 165, connecting Mielno with Mścice, runs through the commune. The distance from Mielno to the seat of the poviat, Koszalin, is 12 km. In the summer season, you can get from Koszalin by the Przewozy Regionalne railbus, as well as by ship, PKS buses, private buses and your own means of transport. For those who prefer active transport - Koszalin can also be reached by a bicycle path. A number of bicycle paths lead through Mielno to Chłopowo and Sarbinowo, along a designated tourist trail through a coniferous and deciduous forest near the dune.

There is no local spatial development plan on the site. In accordance with the provisions of the study of spatial development conditions and directions, the plot of land in question is located in the area marked as residential areas, tourism services.
